WHAT ARE CHARTERED TOURS?

A chartered tour is the name for the tours we operate that are not advertised by Nomad. The Whichway Charter Co. is the Ground Operating division of Nomad Adventure Tours and Holidays cc.

All of the staff at Whichway have previously guided in Africa and have exceptional knowledge of the geography and facilities available.

We are not limited to working with large tour operators and companies, we also design and run private tours.

Perhaps you and a group of your friends would like to travelas a private group?

This is a great way to see Africa as you are then 100% in control of your holiday - choose where you want to go and what you want to see. You are also in complete control of your level of participation - if you want to be more or less involved than on our scheduled tours, then let us know - anything is possible!

WHAT DOES THE WHICHWAY CHARTER CO. DO?

We are available to design, recommend and run all types of group tours throughout Africa. From budget adventure tours in trucks, all the way up to luxury safaris in air-conditioned 4x4's, Sprinters or Coaches. Camping, Hotels and Safari Lodges - we offer it all!

Because the focus is purely operational, the company resources are put into the right area - running good tours.

In other words, we are able to channel efforts normally spent on marketing, sales and reservations into a smooth operational base.

Whichway has a proud and extensive history in the operation of charter tour services. Over 15 years the specialised experience and knowledge required to operate charter tours has been refined and developed. With the ability to assume the brand identity when representing a company, we are confident that Whichway will become an even more dominant force in ground operations.

Accommodation
In addition to tour design the staff are able to recommend accommodation facilities throughout Southern, Central and East Africa.

Africa has great camping facilities for budget or adventure tours although some countries offer better facilities than others. We can assist you to make the right choice.

We are able to offer trips in various languages including, but not limited to: English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Special Interest Groups
Many special-interest groups and organisations contact us to assist and package African experiences that meet their specific requirements. We have access to specialist guides, professors and team-building facilitators whose skills can assist with your trip to Africa.

Educational Tours
We are able to organise departures for schools, universities, clubs, churches, associations and companies, which will enhance learning and discovery. Many schools use us to operate their annual field trips.

Vehicles
One major advantage of using the Whichway Charter Co is that we are able to cater to your exact requirements. We have access to an enormous range of vehicles.

Trucks
Of course we have access to the best overland and adventure trucks in Africa - Nomad’s!

4x4 Landrcruisers and Landrovers
In East Africa especially, it is often a requirement to make use of smaller vehicles in Game Parks, we have excellent rates on a large range of these safari vehicles.
