Visa Requirements (this is your responsibility)

NB: ZAMBIA - NEW VISA LAW

As of midnight Friday the 25/01/2008, the Zambian Government abolished all visa waivers and any rates that were in place before for visa fees have been doubled. We can confirm that this has come into effect today even if clients had already been put on a visa waiver before. For example, a British Citizen will now have to pay $130 for a single entry visa to come into the country, most other Nationalities will be at $50 for a single entry. Nationalities that did not have to be put on waivers before (ie. South Africans) do not need to pay anything. We will try to get a list of all the actual costs per Nationality to send out to you shortly. We will also check the costs of double and multiple entries for you for any clients that are going out of Zambia for tours (Zimbabwe / Botswana etc) and coming back to Zambia. We hope to have this information ASAP.

Very important! As visa requirements vary considerably, please contact the various embassies or a visa service agent for, and to re-check, visa requirements at least 4 weeks prior to departing. Please note that visas are the responsibility of the traveller and that Nomad Adventure Tours will not be held responsible for clients being denied entry should they not be in the possession of the relevant visas.

All travellers must be in possession of a valid onward/return air ticket or proof of other means of transport enabling the traveller to leave the country in which your overland expedition terminates. Alternatively you must have proof of sufficient funds (e.g. credit card) enabling you to purchase an air ticket to leave the country. Should the overland expedition you are joining be re-entering a country, be sure to have a multiple entry visa that enables you to re-enter the country.
