Recent comments regarding this tour from travellers: (2009-06-03)
"Sometimes moving camp everyday is not preferable because you can see, absorb and remember more if the pace were a bit slower. Otherwise this tour was jam-packed full of great experiences – leopard plus lion sightings, bush walks and plants plus more animals. Giom was an excellent wildlife guide. He answered many questions and Mike stopped the truck whenever we wanted. Jabu kept us all in great spirits with home-cooked meals and great funny stories!" - Beth (2009)
”I had a great time but there are some things to work with: Waterproof tents. Our tents were not waterproof. Even though the rain cover didn’t touch the inner tent, water was dripping into the tents. That’s not good enough.” - Carolina (2009)
"I think that one day in Svakopmund is enough. So one more day bush camping." - Thomas (2009)
"I enjoyed everything except visiting the Himba – it was too uncomfortable. I would have prefered to have learned about them in a less voyeuristic way." - Zahara (2009)
"Loved this trip. Would do it again or similar with Nomad and with this guide team. Unbelievably beautiful itinerary, safe, smooth, relatively comfortable. And food was also a highlight." - Edward (2009)
"I am very glad that our guides came from Zimbabwe/Africa, so they knew a lot. I want to do the East Africa Tour one day, but only with Charles as a guide." - Jessica (2009)
"We started in Swakop instead of Cape Town. There was no welcome or introducing of people. For the overall integration it is definitely better to do that." - Tessa (2009)
"I adore the patience and tolerance of especially George, when it comes to deal with all us different people. He tried to make the best out of it. And Michelle was always able to give us must-knows about environment and people of the country, we were in." - Carla (2009)
”I liked the food the guides cooked very much, but I think for a vegetarian it could be a bit one-sided.” - Anita (2009)
“It was a wonderful tour. The guides were okay, but with 24 persons the truck was overloaded.”" - Stephen (2009)
“Overall was very good. We had a great time and saw a lot of beautiful + wonderful things. The food during the trip was amazing. The guides were so helpful and knowledgeable about the stops and local customs and so on. Thank you for a great trip!”" - Jennifer (2009)
“It would be nice if you inform your clients before the departure about the fact that there are different tour-routes in one truck. All people think they're doing the same tour but the group splits." - Sarah (2009)
“More physical activities..." - Dorothy (2009)
“I was so impressed with everything on the tour. Bjorn went above and beyond in every way. Every detail he knew and informed us about. I even had fun in the truck while driving! I never thought time would fly by that fast!" - Jessie (2009)
“I was the best trip of my life. I can't give any negative comments about it! I felt like I was in heaven the whole time. It was just a dream. We had the best group I could imagine. I'll never forget it and you will see me back on another tour!" - Annelies (2009)
“Please apply the rules about the lugage – 1 per person and no big suitcase with weels!" - Will (2009)
“This tour far exeeded my expectations in every way. In terms of value for money, without question the best tour I've ever taken. Much of the credit for this to Novel and Pule. Their proffessionalism, people skills and good sense of humour were fundamental to making this tour such a succes." - Peter (2009)
“This was my first tour but I'm sure it will be my best! George is the craziest guide ever and Terese the best and sweetest! Next time I'll ask for them! The game drives could be better with bigger windows or an open truck." - Julia (2009)
"I did the Township Tour and I liked it a lot. Maybe it would be possible to offer more options like this." - Agnes (2009)
“Expected to see more animals, but because of rain we saw very few. Obviously this is nobodys fault." - Louise (2009)
