Gap Adventures Releases 2010 Adventure Travel Brochures

[Please note these articles below are for your information but are not necessarily written by ourselves.]

Gap Adventures is celebrating 20 years providing the very best life-changing adventures the travel industry has to offer with a collection of seven new, fully redesigned brochures featuring 185 brand new itineraries to destinations on every continent.

Fans of Gap Adventures’ breathtaking brochures will enjoy their innovative new tone, stylish look, dynamic images and easier-to-read format for 2010. From the very first pages of these innovative new brochures, adventure-seekers will learn about what Gap Adventures loves doing most—changing people’s lives—while being introduced to innovative new service benefits such as lifetime deposits and 24/7 service. They’ll also read the unforgettable stories and experiences of travellers from across the globe, as well as travel recollections and insights from Gap Adventures’ back-end and customer-facing staff—known within the company as ‘Gappers’ and ‘Chief Experience Officers,’ respectively—who give life to those life-changing journeys.

The rebranded brochures showcase new trip styles such as fun and flexible YOLO (You Only Live Once) vacations, designed with thrill-seeking 18- to 30-somethings in mind, as well as Gap Adventures’ innovative new Discovery Adventures journeys—designed in conjunction with the iconic Discovery Channel. There’s also the all-new, ultra-cool northern expeditions powered by Gap Adventures and cold-weather apparel designer Canada Goose.

“Our new brochures offer an engaging snapshot of our many well-established tours, as well as our latest cutting-edge trips,” said Gap Adventures founder Bruce Poon Tip. “But they also shed light on our unique company culture and highlight our dedication to leading with service, as well as building community and happiness the world over through our numerous sustainability initiatives.”

At nearly 300 pages, the Worldwide brochure offers a comprehensive overview of all of Gap Adventures’ most popular trips across the globe, while the lively Europe brochure includes details about the brand new, 81-day Marrakech to Cairo Adventure spanning 17 countries, as well as itineraries for new destinations such as Belgium and the Netherlands. The amazing Asia brochure features details on the Mustang trek in Nepal, Panda Bear volunteer adventures in China and exciting new trips through the Philippines, while the South, Central and North America brochure offers the best in new Alaska tours, breathtaking sailing trips around Belize and palette-pleasing wine tours in Argentina.

Travellers longing to journey to the depths of Uganda’s gorilla-laden jungles, trek to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro or revel in the atmosphere of the upcoming World Cup can indulge in the stunning photos and lively descriptions in the Africa brochure, while the pyramids of Giza, towering facades of Petra and colourful marketplaces of Morocco await in the North Africa and Middle East brochure. Thrill-seekers aiming for an adventure of polar extremes can check out the brand new Expedition Cruises program, offering details about wildlife and culture-driven trips around Antarctica and the Arctic region to destinations such as Spitsbergen, Norway, aboard Gap Adventures’ vessel M/S Expedition. These unforgettable trips feature visits to secluded rookeries, seldom-explored villages and other hidden gems accessible only by Zodiac landing craft.

No matter their age, budget or interests, Gap Adventures offers a trip for every traveller. Brochures are available to order or download online at www.gapadventures.com/brochure/
